The City Learning Centre works with all of the schools within Wolverhampton to deliver programmes for both students and teachers.
Every school in the city has allocated time at the CLC every academic year.
The CLC works with Secondary schools to deliver both tailored and targeted programmes for students.
CLC staff plan tailored projects with school teaching staff, designed to meet the needs of an individual group of students. In addition, targeted programmes, designed to meet local needs, are offered out to all Secondary schools in the city.
It is our objective to work closely with all eighteen Secondary Schools in Wolverhampton to meet their needs. If you have an idea for a collaborative project, please contact us.
The CLC works with Primary Schools to deliver an evolving programme of cross-curricular projects designed to engage, motivate and challenge young learners through tasks based on literacy, maths, science or design technology.
Our themed activity days are based around exciting narratives that lead students through a set of challenges. Learners may be trying to prove to The Doctor that they are his ideal new Assistant, or to save the world from a catastrophic meteorite collision.
If you have an idea for a collaborative project or activity day, please contact us.
The CLC works with both Infant and Special Schools to deliver programmes tailored towards the specific needs of their learners.
Teachers from all Wolverhampton Infant schools, or all Wolverhampton Special Schools, are invited to collaborate with CLC staff to create engaging, relevant sessions for their learners.
If you have an idea for a collaborative project, please contact us.
The CLC offers an ongoing programme of staff training opportunities for school staff across all Key Stages.
We specialise in delivering training focussed on the effective use of technology in enhancing teaching and learning.
If you, or your department or school, have a specific training need, please contact us.
