There will be opportunity to experiment with a range of software applications which can be used to enhance and manipulate digital photographs. Using audio can be a real cross curricular motivator for many pupils. The spoken voice can be added by a teacher or pupil to any Microsoft application; to either make text more accessible, or for pupils to tell a story or explain a process.
Participants will learn how to record audio into Microsoft applications, and have an opportunity to explore what potential this may have in the classroom. Participants will also be able to find out more about how to create a radio programme, and hear examples from schools already using this as a learning tool. However, audio doesn’t have to mean recording the voice, during the day participants will explore the use of recording sounds to create sound and mood presentations.
There will be microphones available for participants to experiment with.
