Web Design
Using Macromedia Dreamweaver, pupils will be able to create a basic website incorporating text, sound, graphics, video and animation. The site will be designed with reference to industry guidelines.Pupils will explore and analyse existing websites, and plan a site for a new company. They will consider layout, navigation, the design of graphics and logos and the effective use of text.
Pupils will learn about the history and development of the Internet, and the implications that it has for our futures.
The Internet has changed our lives; the ways we communicate, do business and retrieve information. Proficiency in web design gives students new avenues of self-expression, multimedia exploration and possible future employment.
