All of the CLC’s core work with Secondary Schools is now tailored individually and planned collaboratively with teaching staff in school. This page is retained for referenece as a description of the kind of work we have done with schools in the past.
Video Poetry
Using the Apple Mac’s video editing software, iMovie, pupils are able to create a professional short video sequence with no prior video editing knowledge.In the video poetry day, students will create a montage as a creative response to to piece of prose.
At the end of the process, students will have the opportunity to evaluate their own work and that of their peers. The completed films will be forwarded to school.
Video offers pupils an opportunity to be directly involved in their own multimedia presentations and to explore and communicate their own ideas about the world.
