Subscribe to CLC content

We want to make it as easy as possible for our partner schools, teachers, students and other site visitors to stay in touch with the latest news, articles and podcasts from the City Learning Centre. We provide three main ways in which you can subscribe to automatically receive new content:

  • You can subscribe via email.
  • You can subscribe to one of three different newsfeeds.
  • You can subscribe to the podcast using iTunes or other podcast-receiving software.

Subscribe by Newsfeed

Click on the link to open the feed, then copy the address (URL) from the address bar in your browser into your newsfeed aggregator software. Modern browsers (e.g. Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer 7) allow you to subscribe in the browser itself.

For more information about subscribing to newsfeeds, visit the BBC RSS Help pages or the blog article “Working with RSS feeds“. The following video is also a really good introduction to using RSS feeds:

You can also subscribe to the main feed using your favourite online services (e.g. Bloglines, Google Reader) by clicking on the relevant icon in the right hand navigation menu.

Subscribe in Engage

If you’re based in Wolverhampton education, you can also add our newsfeed into your homepage in Wolverhampton Local Authority’s Engage portal:

Subscribe to the podcast in iTunes

To find the CLC podcast in the iTunes Store, search for “Wolverhampton City Learning Centre”. If you have iTunes installed on your computer, the link below should take you to the podcast (In our experience, this direct link is not always reliable)
