We want to make it as easy as possible for our partner schools, teachers, students and other site visitors to stay in touch with the latest news, articles and podcasts from the City Learning Centre. We provide three main ways in which you can subscribe to automatically receive new content:
Add your email address to the form below to subscribe. A confirmation email will be sent to the address you give; click on the confirmation link in this email to confirm your subscription.
Whenever new items are posted to the news, blog or podcast sections, you will automatically receive an email notification.
You can unsubscribe at any time by re-entering your email address into the form below and selecting “unsubscribe”.
There are three newsfeeds to choose from. Click on the link to open the feed, then copy the address (URL) from the address bar in your browser into your newsfeed aggregator software. Modern browsers (e.g. Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer 7) allow you to subscribe in the browser itself.
For more information about subscribing to newsfeeds, visit the BBC RSS Help pages or the blog article “Working with RSS feeds“. The following video is also a really good introduction to using RSS feeds:
You can also subscribe to the main feed using your favourite online services (e.g. Bloglines, Google Reader) by clicking on the relevant icon in the right hand navigation menu.
If you’re based in Wolverhampton education, you can also add our newsfeed into your homepage in Wolverhampton Local Authority’s Engage portal:
To find the CLC podcast in the iTunes Store, search for “Wolverhampton City Learning Centre”. If you have iTunes installed on your computer, the link below should take you to the podcast (In our experience, this direct link is not always reliable)
