The City Learning Centre website contains a number of features designed to help you:
Printed pages from the CLC website do not include banner graphics or navigational links. This helps to reduce your use of ink and gives you printed documents that just contain the content from the page.
To make it easier for you to use this site we’ve built-in some features which might help you to get around. These features will be of particular assistance to visitors who struggle to use a mouse to navigate around webpages.
The accesskey function allows you to move around a site without using your mouse to click on links. Using your keyboard, it’s possible to jump directly to certain links or certain areas within a page. By typing alt+[accesskey] (on a PC) or ctrl+[accesskey] (on a Mac), a link becomes highlighted. You can then hit the enter key to activate the link (hitting enter is not necessary in some browsers, e.g. Firefox). Note that for users of the Opera browser, the key combination to access keys is ctrl-escape+[accesskey].
This site employs a number of standard accesskeys as recommended for all UK websites:
If you would prefer the content text on the CLC website to be larger (or smaller), you can adjust this through your browser. In Internet Explorer, go to “View -> Text Size” then select one of the size options. Other browser software usually has a similar feature - normally under the “View” menu option.
