St. Peter’s music and podcasting project - Session 3 podcasts
From Wednesday to Friday last week, three groups of Year 8 students from St. Peter’s CE Collegiate School visited the CLC to learn how to use GarageBand as both a music and podcasting tool. The students spent the morning using the loops in GarageBand and MIDI keyboards to create an original jingle of about 1 minute in length, then used this jingle in a podcast based around a topic in the Music curriculum.

You can listen back to podcasts online or download the podcast to your computer by right-clicking (ctrl-clicking on a Mac) on the “Download” link and “Save Target As”. Note that these podcasts won’t yet appear in iTunes. I will compile several together later this term, to prevent our listing in iTunes from being flooded with 27 podcasts in three days!
