Doctor Who Adventure Days (Wood End, Moat House, Loxdale, Holy Rosary, St. Bartholomews) - September 2007

filed under Session Reports September 24th, 2007 Richard Anderson

During September, five classes from Wolverhampton Primary Schools have enjoyed Doctor Who Adventure Days at the CLC.

Students from Wood End, Moat House, Loxdale, Holy Rosary, and St. Bartholomews, have participated in a series of exciting activities in problem-solving, maths, literacy, mindmapping and design technology.

The days culminate in an adventure game, written using Immersive Education’s MissionMaker software, which challenges students to save the world from alien invasion in a secret mission on a distant world.

What the teachers have said:

Really good range of activities. Children developed team work and worked more independently.

The children worked collaboratively to solve problems. They were able to use new software and partcipate in problem-solving activities. The CLC is a very valuable resource.
