Woden Primary School - Healthy Living - Friday 13th July

Woden Primary School, Year 6 students made the visit to the CLC for a day all about ‘healthy living’. A great group who brought plenty of their own knowledge and experience to the day.

The students had to:

  • Discuss the importance of the right kind of food and drink
  • Organize foods into specific groups
  • Test and record physical achievements
  • Create ‘heathy’ newsletter of the day

 

What the teacher said:

  • Pupils have enjoyed the day and learnt a lot about healthy living
  • Excellent facilities/ friendly environment
  • Positive goup interactions
  • Positive pupil enthusiasm
  • Incorparate within P.E. sessions

    I have enjoyed this day very much because it has been fun and exciting.Eddie has showed us many nw ways of warming up and had really inspired me to be more considerate in the of type of foods i eat.

    I thought today was really fun. You can do everything. The man who was teaching us Eddie he was really funny and he made us laugh alot. I would recommend to come and visit the clc you will have alot of fun. Ask for Eddie if you want to have a laugh and enjoy yourself. Wolverhampton City Learning Centre is the best place to have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I really enjoyed today it was really fun , I enjoyed all the things that we did especially the magazine / comic.It was better than do maths or english , i would reccomend it to any one who wants to learn about heathy living.

    i really enjoyed 2day it was really fun, Eddie was funny he always made us laugh, i really liked doin the the activitys it was really fun 2 altogether I really learnt loads of stuff and i wish i could come here again.
