Primary Maths in Motion Final - 29th March 2007

filed under News March 19th, 2007 Richard Anderson

The Wolverhampton final of the Maths in Motion Challenge will take place on Thursday 29th March, from 9:30 a.m.

Over the last two months, Year 6 groups from St. Stephen’s, Dovecotes, St. Martin’s, West Park, Field View and Loxdale have attended the CLC to design and race virtual race cars.

An understanding of a variety of Mathemetical ideas was necessary to compete successfully. In the Wolverhampton final, the winning teams from each of the six participating schools will return to the CLC to compete against each other for the Wolverhampton title and the right to submit their car for possible entry into the National Final later this year. Further details of the Final have been sent to the participating schools. Good Luck to all of the teams!
