  8. Plumstead Manor School May 3, 2007 9:29 am

    Dear Parkfield High,

We are a girls school in South East London called Plumstead Manor and today we listened to your Tempest podcast; to help us revise for our SATs.

We think that making a podcast to revise is an excellent idea and next term we are going to try it out ourselves.

Today we used your podcast to also: do some review writing, so we wanted to share our comments with you.

    We really liked:
The way you used PEE to explain how to talk/write about the key scenes.
The way you offered more websites we could look at to revise.
The way you used interviews to remind us about the characters
The range of music you used
The way you have designed your website
The way you separated your podcast into key themes, characters etc.
    The summary of the play
The formality of some of your podcast

    We think you could improve:
Make sure that everyone is recorded at the same volume
Sometimes the music was too loud
    Sometimes you spoke to fast
We wanted to know how the characters were connected when you interviewed them

We hope this helps you :)

No offence like but this podcast isn’t that helpful… me and my friend have our SATs today and we were depending on podcast to help us. But guess what you haven’t we are both very clever students and our on track level is 7. Neither of us think we will acheive this. Maybe you could put some more useful sites to help level 7 students . . .thanks.
