We luv it in Texas!

filed under Student Blogs October 24th, 2005 Mr Mehmi

Hi everybody,

There was a lot of rain in Florida and it was a bit windy. We got to the airport okay and the flight was only delayed by 20 minutes. We have checked into an excellent hotel, i will put some pictures up later. The weather is superb: sunny, not too hot and not too humidemoticon.

This hotel has better internet access, so hopefully we will be able to put up more posts.

Hope you are all safe and well.

Mr Mehmi

Did you actually get to see the hurricane from the air? Any pictures? I hope that the Florida experience was not too traumatic for the students - I bet it’s one they won’t be forgetting in a hurry! Enjoy some of that Texan hospitality.

    Regards,

    Richard

    Hello Lawrence,

Glad to hear that you all arrived safely in Texas and that you did see some of the hurricane, it would be a shame if you had completely missed it. Dad was thrilled to have his own personal reporter on the spot.

Things have felt very different at home without you. Marlene has been in London for the weekend and Michael has got his family staying with him this week so we haven’t seen much of him so life is very quiet here.

I’m pleased to hear that you are enjoying your food, especially the gaiter tails, I guess that Florida is a good place to try these as they should know how to cook them.

Thank you for sending the photo and message it was good to see everyone and hear that everyone was having a good time.

    Love Mom x

Glad you made it to Houston safe and sound.

Now you have sunshine too! Is there no end to your jaminess?

Keep well and keep looking after everyone
