(28/09/05) The Autumn Term City Learning Centre newsletter is now online. A paper version is being sent to all EiC schools as part of the CLC pack being sent out imminently.
Upcoming opportunities for schools include:
- Primary visits to Whitwick Manor with a follow-up day at the CLC
- Secondary KS4 History visits to RAF Cosford with a follow-up day at the CLC
- DiDA training for KS4 teachers
- A school website design service
- After-school chess club
- The launch of Maths in Motion 2005-6
- Interactive Whiteboard training for Primary and Secondary teachers
- Funding for teachers to visit Kennedy Space Centre in Florida during Easter 2006.
The packs going out to schools with an allocation in the Spring Term also include details of the theme days available and booking details. New theme days for Spring term include Space Day (Primary and Secondary), Flash animation (Secondary) and Film Editing / Film Making (Primary and Secondary). Book early to ensure that your chosen dates are still available!
