Today I learned about rockets and also how they work. We made rockets of our own which we get to take home with us. We also have special t-shirt which has me on it we are floating in a space rocket.
I think I am going to have lots of memories from the city learning centre when we finish because I came here before with my school I like the city learning centre because I have made lots of friends. I hope I can come here again because its fun and it’s the six weeks holiday.

We saw a film that showed us how people where strapped into the rocket and also how it gets launched into space.
I have leared about how big and how small planets can be and how far away thay are from the Sun.We looked at what the planets look like .I have learned a lot today and I hope I can learn some more things in the rest of the week. I will have many things to remember about the city learning centre.

Today me and sam have had a great time. We have both had an exciting time learning about space and a little bit of tomorows work. We have all made FANTASTIC badges and pictures of us to go our T-shirts. Richard showed us what to do first we looked at different planets. We where looking at different temperatures of the planets. We looked at diffrent bages that real astronauts made. And we did pictures on the computers and the staff of CLC are going to put them on T-shirts.

It was brilliant. We got to see how far the planets are away from the Sun.

It was okay. We had to work quite hard. My favourite part of the day was making the badges.

What I did today I did not know before and I have not learnt about space before. Richard, Simone and Simon helped us to learn about the shuttle craft. And we have not learnt about this before and it was fun. The best thing was pretending to fly in space. We are going to use the photograph of us flying on our T-shirts, we are also going on a mission to mars this week so I have designed a mission badge to put on my T-shirt.
We looked at a movie about the space shuttle. I am looking forward to making a rocket tomorrow. And we went on the field to see how many metres away from the Earth in to space. We all leand about mars, jupiter and the milkyway. There were some people I know who came from my school. And I made some friends.

I have learned a lot today and have had a good day and am looking forward to tomorrow when we are doing rockets. My most favourite part was when we made our badges and did the pictures on the computer. I was amazed when we went outside and we were given a planet and then we had to walk down to pluto.I was so amazed at how long away it was from the sun.
I am looking foward to the rest of the week and i have really enjoyed my day at space camp (City learning Centre ) and I would definitely recommend it because it is so much fun, well today has been anyway, we got to have breaks and we got to go outside i have really enjoyed my day. Thankyou Space Camp i am really looking foward to tomorrow plus it is really cheap for so much fun and we get a free t-shirt where we can put us floating in space but we really didn’t and our badges that will go on our t-shirts which we will get tommorrow to wear for the rest of the week and keep forever.
