Podcasting - a new force in education?

The latest buzzword in digital media is podcasting, a method of publishing audio broadcasts via the Internet which allows users to subscribe to a feed of new files. You can think of podcasts as specialist radio shows that you download onto your PC or MP3 player to listen to whenever you wish.

The latest version of iTunes makes it very easy to subscribe to podcasts and then automatically synchronise your iPod so that you always have the latest information on your favourite topics. The current no. 1 podcast on iTunes is the "Best of Chris Moyles" feed from Radio 1.
