Wednesfield High ride high in Maths in Motion final

(09/07/05) A pair of Y10 students from Wednesfield High School, finished a fantastic 2nd in the Key Stage 4 final of the Maths in Motion Challenge, held at the Jaguar Car Plant in Castle Bromwich on Wednesday 29th June. Competing against the top 10 other Key Stage 4 teams from across the country, the Wednesfield High pair lost out only to a team from Grove Academy in Dundee. Wednesfield High Maths in Motion winnersOver 200,000 students from across the nation participated in the Challenge; the best 10 teams at each age group were invited to the final. The boys in the team, Lee and Harman, won book vouchers for themselves and a digital video camera for their school. Congratulations to the Wednesfield High team for your wonderful achievement!
